 Synechron, Inc. a leading provider of technology solutions for the insurance and financial services industries has been recognized with an award for its Mobile Platform for the insurance industry. ACORD is the global standards organization for the insurance industry. The ACORD Award is presented at the annual ACORD Implementation Forum in Fort Lauderdale.

The ACORD award is of great importance to Synechron, as its industry-leading mobile insurance framework for the auto insurance industry was received for an entirely new award category in the list of solutions and platforms. Synechron also hosted a special session at the Implementation Forum to highlight the scope, usability and benefits of the newly developed framework as well as cover the relevant technical aspects.

Synechron’s Mobile Platform enables carriers, producers, and policy holders with ‘anytime, anywhere’ access to their insurance policies as well as many self-service features while supporting ACORD transactions. The framework empowers insurance carriers to explore new growth areas, promote customer loyalty and retention, improve operational efficiency, and generate new business opportunities. This mobile solution framework is designed for leading smart phone carriers including Apple, Android, and Blackberry.

The framework enhances user experience by allowing them to perform various functions on their smart phones such as raising a claim, viewing policy information, and managing personal information. Other value added services can also be accessed via the framework such as Accident toolkit, Roadside Assistance, alerts/ warning message, pre-configured/ configurable text messages, and sharing information as well as news updates via social groups.
